Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a Shift Electrician to perform planned and reactive electrical maintenance at our Swanwick site. The role includes conducting NICEIC inspections, reporting defects, and ensuring safety standards and regulatory compliance on all site activities.

The successful candidate will carry out installations and repairs, maintain logs, and support site compliance tasks. This is a 40-hour-per-week role with alternating early/late shifts scheduled to ensure service continuity.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical maintenance and repairs on electrical services and equipment.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and compliance with Health & Safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Planned Maintenance and Reactive Works on electrical services and equipment.
• Conduct periodic NICEIC inspections and maintain accurate logs of inspection reports and remedial work.
• Undertake electrical repairs and installations as appropriate and report any defects during service visits.
• Maintain a strong working knowledge of statutory regulations and adhere to all site safety procedures.
• Complete all work-related documentation accurately and on time and support site compliance activities, including acting as QS once suitable site knowledge is gained.
