Job summary

Ganymede Solutions Limited is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a 3-month rolling contract in Berkshire. The role operates on Panama Shifts (12-hour days and nights) and is outside IR35 at £35 per hour.

You will support the in-house team, perform fault finding on PLCs and a range of electrical components, and carry out preventative maintenance to minimise downtime. Applicants should have industrial electrical experience, NVQ Level 3 or an electrical apprenticeship, and proven

Qualifications

• Industrial electrical experience in a manufacturing or FMCG setting.
• NVQ Level 3 or electrical apprenticeship completed.
• Able to fault-find and repair a wide range of electrical components.
• Experience with PLCs (Siemens S5/S7) beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Reactive maintenance including fault finding and component replacement.
• Preventative maintenance to reduce downtime.
• Electrical fault-finding on PLCs and components such as sensors, relays, motors and contactors.

Electrical Maintenance Engineer - Manufacturing

The day-to-day responsibilities of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer will involve the following.

• Reactive maintenance will include fault finding and replacing components on a variety of machines.
• Preventative maintenance
• Electrical responsibilities will include fault finding on PLCs and a variety of electrical components such as sensors, relays, proximities, control panels, single phase, three phase, AC and DC motors and contactors

The Maintenance Engineer must possess the following skills and experience.

• Previous Electrical experience within an Industrial environment - this could be Manufacturing, or FMCG.
• NVQ LVL 3 or Apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering is a must
• Able to fault find and repair a wide range electrical component
• Experience with working PLCs (Siemens S5 and S7)
