Job summary

Ganymede Solutions Ltd. is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a manufacturing environment based in Berkshire on a rolling 3-month contract. The role operates on Panama shifts (12-hour days and nights) to support continuous production and minimize downtime.

You will fault-find and repair a wide range of electrical components and PLC systems (Siemens S5/S7), with NVQ Level 3 or an apprenticeship essential. Outside IR35, £35 per hour, minimum 40 hours per week, immediate start.

Qualifications

• Previous Electrical experience within an Industrial environment – this could be Manufacturing, or FMCG.
• NVQ LVL 3 or Apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering is a must
• Able to fault find and repair a wide range electrical component
• Experience with working PLCs (Siemens S5 and S7)

Responsibilities

• Reactive maintenance: fault finding and replacing components on a variety of machines.
• Preventative maintenance.
• Electrical responsibilities: fault finding on PLCs and a variety of electrical components such as sensors, relays, proximities, control panels, single phase, three phase, AC and DC motors and contactors.

Electrical Maintenance Engineer – Manufacturing

The day-to-day responsibilities of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer will involve the following.
