Job summary

CV Technical Limited is recruiting two Maintenance Electricians for a busy heavy-industry site in Dudley. The role covers PPM/TPM across facilities and production machinery, fault diagnosis, and PLC troubleshooting on Mitsubishi/Siemens/Allen-Bradley/Fanuc systems, with scope to install and improve new equipment.

The ideal candidate is electrically qualified to Level 3+, experienced with industrial fault finding, and flexible to overtime.

Qualifications

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance across site facilities and production machinery.
• Maintain and repair melting and casting equipment and conveyors.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and panel drawings.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM/TPM) across site facilities and production machinery.
• Maintain and repair melting and casting equipment, sand moulding machines, conveyors, bucket elevators and shot blasting machinery.
• Respond to breakdowns, diagnosing and resolving electrical faults efficiently.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and panel drawings to identify faults down to component level.
• Undertake PLC fault finding and interrogation to identify the root cause of equipment failures.
• Support the installation, commissioning and improvement of new machinery and equipment.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are completed in line with site safety standards and procedures.

Location: DUDLEY | Salary: Up to £50,000 DOE / Double Days

We are currently recruiting for two experienced Maintenance Electricians to join a well-established manufacturing business operating within a heavy industrial environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for electrically biased maintenance professionals to join a busy site, supporting the reliability, performance and continuous improvement of a range of industrial machinery and production equipment.

The Role

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM/TPM) across site facilities and production machinery.
• Maintain and repair melting and casting equipment, sand moulding machines, conveyors, bucket elevators and shot blasting machinery.

The Ideal Candidate

• Experienced Maintenance Electrician or Electrical Maintenance Engineer with a background in heavy industry or manufacturing.
• Holds a relevant electrical qualification at Level 3 or above.
• Confident with industrial electrical fault finding and diagnostics.
• Experienced in PLC fault finding, ideally with Mitsubishi, Siemens, Allen-Bradley or Fanuc systems.
• Flexible and willing to work overtime when required.
• A proactive approach to breakdown response, preventative maintenance and continuous improvement.

• Weekly rotating shifts: 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm.
• Overtime paid at time and one-third midweek and Saturdays, and time and a half on Sundays.
