Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer – Campus Estate (FM Sector)
Location: Clapham
Salary: £41k – £43k
Hours: Monday–Friday with 1 in 3 call out

A leading Facilities Management provider is seeking a highly skilled and proactive Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join its dedicated team, delivering critical services across a prestigious multi-building campus estate comprising over 16 facilities. This is a hands-on role where attention to detail, compliance, and operational reliability are key to ensuring a safe and efficient environment for all occupants.

The Role: The Electrical Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for the planned, reactive, and statutory maintenance of electrical systems across the campus. Key duties include:

  • Carrying out PPMs and reactive tasks on electrical distribution, switchgear, and control panels.
  • Maintaining emergency lighting, fire alarms, UPS systems, generators, and BMS-controlled equipment.
  • Supporting site operations by attending and resolving electrical faults promptly.
  • Assisting with minor installations, upgrades, and remedial works across the 16-building estate.
  • Ensuring all tasks are logged, compliant, and meet both statutory and client requirements.

The Candidate:

  • NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Electrical Installations.
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualified.
  • Experience working in large-scale, multi-building FM environments.
  • Strong fault-finding skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Excellent client-facing and communication skills.
