Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a fully automated factory in Bury, Greater Manchester. The role focuses on maintaining complex machinery, fault-finding and preventative maintenance to maximise uptime.

Shift is Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm with occasional cover; benefits include pension, overtime, parking, training and 31 days holiday.

Qualifications

• Electrical bias with hands-on fault-finding experience.
• Level 3 Electrical qualification minimum.
• Fully eligible to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical maintenance on automated production machinery.
• Perform fault finding and planned preventative maintenance.
• Ensure maximum uptime and efficiency of manufacturing equipment.

ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE ENGINEER

Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Location: Bury, Greater Manchester

Salary: £45,000 - £46,000

Shift: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm (shift cover when needed)

Job Role of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer:

You will be responsible for carrying out electrical maintenance, fault-finding and planned preventative maintenance on a range of fully automated production machinery, ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer:

• Electrical bias
• Level 3 Electrical qualification as a minimum
• Full rights to work in the UK

Requirements for the Electrical Maintenance Engineer:

• Hands-on electrical fault-finding experience
• Able to understand electrical schematics
• Experience with PLC's (inputs/outputs)
• Experience working within a manufacturing environment

Desirable Requirements for the Electrical Maintenance Engineer:

IOSH qualification desirable
Experience working within an FMCG environment
