Job summary

Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a fully skilled Electrical Maintenance Craftsperson to join the Estates Department team in Exeter. The role covers maintenance, testing, repairs and installations across the Trust’s estate, with a focus on providing a safe, clean and patient‑friendly environment.

The post is based in Exeter with a salary band of £28,392–£31,157 per annum pro rata, plus a £3,277 retained pay uplift.

Qualifications

• Fully skilled electrical tradesperson with experience in maintenance, testing, and repair.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Planned Preventative Electrical (PPM), remedial repairs, alterations, testing and installation of engineering services, equipment and fixtures maintained by the Estates Department.
• Perform fault finding and maintenance to ensure a safe, clean and pleasant environment for patients, staff and visitors.
