Our client is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Maintenance Controls Engineer with strong knowledge of electrical, automation, and PLC systems. The role offers a basic salary of £59,000 per annum, plus bonus, OT opportunities with OTE over £70K, and a pension matched up to 10%.

Position Overview:

Working within the Maintenance Team, providing hands-on electrical and PLC technical support across the factory. Key skills include PLC fault finding, modifications, and electrical installations. You will handle breakdowns, fault diagnosis, and repair of PLC-controlled machinery, including experience with servo drives, HMI, Profibus, and project work involving CAPEX improvements. Siemens S7 training is available.

This role offers involvement in a wide range of electrical maintenance operations and projects, supported by various training opportunities.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Recognized Electrical Engineering Apprenticeship & Qualification or equivalent UK Level 3 qualification (NVQ, City and Guilds, BTEC 3, HNC/HND)
• PLC fault finding experience is essential
• Experience with installing servo drives, HMI, Profibus, and project work
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, undertaking PPM and TPM activities
• High health and safety awareness
• Strong fault-finding, repair, and solution-providing skills for electrical machinery
