Job summary

TELFORD COLLEGE is offering an apprenticeship to join the electrical team, focusing on a variety of tasks with an electrical bias. You will start with planned maintenance, basic electrical work, and meter reading while developing fault finding and problem-solving skills.

Fully funded training leads to a Level 3 Installation and Maintenance Electrician apprenticeship with progression opportunities within four years. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm.

Qualifications

• Essential GCSE English and Maths at grade C/4 or higher.
• Level 3 Installation and Maintenance Electrician course.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planned preventative maintenance tasks for electrical work.
• Perform basic electrical tasks under supervision.
• Read meter readings and recognise trends.
• Attend breakdowns to help fix electrical faults.
• Develop fault finding and problem solving skills.

What You'll Do

• Introduced to planned preventative maintenance tasks for the electrical work
