In this role, you will use your industry experience to teach and develop learners studying Electrical Installation, predominantly across Levels 2 and 3. Depending on your experience, there will also be opportunities to become involved with apprenticeships, assessing and course management.
You do not need previous teaching experience. Experienced Electricians coming directly from industry can be considered, provided you hold a relevant Level 3 Electrical qualification. You will receive the training and support required to develop into a fully qualified Lecturer and Assessor. For experienced Lecturers and Assessors, there are further opportunities to gain additional qualifications, including IQA, and progress into more senior positions.
