Job summary

CJS Recruitment Limited is seeking an Electrical Lecturer with AM2 to join a further education setting on a long-term contract. Deliver engaging electrical installation theory and practical training.

You will support learner progress and career development, develop learners’ technical and practical skills, and maintain a positive, inclusive learning environment in line with health & safety standards. The post offers £40–£45 per hour and a long-term contract.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Electrical Lecturer or FE teacher.
• AM2 qualification – essential.
• Teaching qualification desirable.
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Up-to-date safeguarding, KCSIE and Prevent training.

About You

• Proven experience as an Electrical Lecturer or teacher within Electrical Installation/FE.
• Relevant electrical qualifications.
• AM2 qualification – essential.

• Strong understanding of electrical health & safety.
• Relevant teaching qualification desirable.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
