Job summary

CTS Group in Middlesbrough, United Kingdom, is seeking an Electrical Lead for a flagship data centre project. You will own electrical installation, testing, commissioning, and handover, coordinating with project management, subcontractors, and client representatives to meet design, safety, and quality standards.

The role requires degree in Electrical Engineering, 7+ years of experience on large-scale projects, and strong knowledge of LV/MV distribution, UPS, BMS, and ELV systems.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years' experience delivering electrical systems on large-scale projects.
• Proven experience leading electrical installation and commissioning to completion.
• Strong knowledge of LV/MV distribution, UPS, BMS and ELV systems.
• Full professional proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical installation, testing, commissioning and handover.
• Coordinate interfaces with mechanical, civil, commissioning and construction teams.
• Ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance on site.
• Review designs, submittals, shop drawings and vendor docs.
• Manage electrical work packages against project milestones.
