DCS Recruitment Limited in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer to support multiple process sites, performing fault finding and maintenance across electrical and instrumentation systems.
This hands-on role involves supervising contractors, managing Permit to Work, and helping ensure the safe, reliable operation of critical plant in heavy process environments such as chemicals, oil & gas, power, COMAH, or similar.
Location: St Helens (covering St Helens, Runcorn, Trafford Park & Ravenhead)
Salary: Circa £60,000 + £8,000-£10,000 Call Out Allowance + Benefits
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm (Bankable Hours)
Call Out: 1-in-4 rota (pool vehicle provided during on-call weeks)
We're supporting a leading industrial process organisation in the search for an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer.
This is a hands-on role supporting multiple process manufacturing sites, carrying out fault finding, maintenance and plant improvements across electrical and instrumentation systems. You'll supervise contractors, manage Permit to Work activities and help ensure the safe and reliable operation of critical process plant.
This role would suit someone from a heavy process environment such as chemicals, industrial gases, power generation, oil & gas, COMAH or similar.
You'll be a hands-on EC&I Engineer from a heavy process environment who enjoys fault finding, maintaining plant reliability and taking ownership of electrical and instrumentation systems. You'll be confident working with HV/LV equipment, supervising contractors and operating safely within Permit to Work systems.
