Electrical Installer/Tester

Location: London (E17)

Salary: £42,500 – £47,500 per annum (depending on experience)

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

A reputable electrical services provider is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Installer/Tester to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified and motivated individual to work on a variety of domestic and social housing projects across London.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Carry out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) in both void and occupied properties
2. Complete and document testing, inspections, and remedial works
3. Undertake various installation tasks such as alarms, consumer units, emergency lighting, rewires, and wet rooms
4. Respond to day-to-day reactive maintenance calls
5. Ensure all work is carried out efficiently, safely, and to a high standard
6. Communicate effectively with supervisors and clients
7. Use good judgement and problem-solving skills in all aspects of electrical work
8. Manage your time effectively and meet deadlines

Requirements:

• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (City & Guilds)
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation, Inspection & Testing qualification (2391 or equivalent)
• Strong experience in fault finding, testing, and inspecting electrical work
• Comfortable working with Microsoft Office and technology platforms
• Previous experience with social housing contracts
• Full UK driving licence
• Own tools (vehicle, fuel card, and uniform provided)
