Job summary
City & Guilds Group is recruiting an Electrical Installation Tutor to deliver practical and theoretical training for apprenticeships and commercial clients in the Coventry area. You will teach a range of C&G qualifications and contribute to training material development while maintaining DBS compliance and close employer liaison.
The role requires experience in domestic, commercial, and/or industrial electrical installation, a Level 3 teaching qualification, and driving licence for travel
Qualifications
- Recent and relevant industry experience in electrical installation across domestic, commercial and/or industrial sectors.
- Strong knowledge of electrical science principles and practical skills.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality electrical installation training for apprentices and commercial clients.
- Develop and update lesson plans and training materials to meet industry standards.
- Assess and provide feedback on apprentices’ work, tracking progress and maintaining records.
- Provide mentoring and support to learners and coordinate progress reviews with employers.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during training and assessments.
