Job summary

The Bedford College Group seeks a Technical Lecturer in Electrical Installations to join the Construction department at Tresham College. You will plan, deliver and assess industry-relevant teaching across Electrical Installation and related Built Environment programmes, combining practical and theoretical learning to support learner outcomes.

A Level 2 Electrical Installations qualification and ongoing professional development are essential.

Qualifications

• Holds a Level 2 Electrical Installations qualification and current vocational skills.
• Willing to achieve Level 3 Teaching Award, TAQA and Cert Ed.
• Experience across Electrical Installation and related Built Environment programmes.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop and deliver teaching across Electrical Installation and related programmes.
• Develop schemes of work, resources, assess and record achievement.
• Maintain safe learning environments and manage learner progression.
• Contribute to course development, welfare support and external partnerships.
