Job summary

Vision Talent Solutions is seeking a dedicated Electrical Installation Teacher or Trainee Teacher for a permanent role in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire. You will deliver engaging theoretical and practical lessons to learners aged 16+, helping them develop electrical knowledge and employability skills.

The role suits an experienced lecturer or a qualified electrician starting a career in education. DBS checks and teaching qualifications may be required or pursued.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering electrical installation qualifications.
• Solid knowledge of current electrical regulations and industry standards.
• Experience in Further Education or Apprenticeships is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching and practical training in Electrical Installation.
• Plan, prepare and assess learning in line with awarding body and college requirements.
• Support learners in developing electrical knowledge, practical competencies and employability skills.
• Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain attendance, assessment outcomes and learner development records.
• Create a safe, inclusive learning environment that promotes learner success.
• Support learners in achieving qualifications and progression to study or employment.
• Promote safe working practices in workshops and classrooms.
• Assist learners in building portfolios of evidence.
• Contribute to wider curriculum and departmental activities.
• Bring recent industry experience to the role.
