Job summary

Burton and South Derbyshire College invites applications for an Electrical Installation Course Leader to join our expanding Construction Academy. The role centres on delivering high-quality electrical installation teaching and developing industry-aligned courses at The Stephen Burke Construction Academy, Swadlincote.

You will bring current industry experience and a passion for teaching to inspire learners. A teaching qualification is desirable, with willingness to work towards Level 2

Qualifications

Qualified in or willing to work towards Level 2 English and Maths.
Teaching qualification desirable or willingness to work towards appropriate qualifications.

Responsibilities

Deliver high quality teaching within the Construction Academy and Green Skills Centre.
Inspire the next generation of electricians while supporting skills development for sustainable construction.
Develop and deliver specialist industry-related courses as required.
Engage learners from day one using a fresh teaching style and industry experience.
