Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment is seeking an Electrical Installation Trainer to join an education provider in Radstock. The role involves delivering Level 1–3 Electrical programmes across classroom and workshop settings, with a focus on practical delivery and learner progression.

You will possess a strong electrical background, Level 3 qualification, 18th Edition and Maths/English at Level 2, with a view to achieving teaching/assessor credentials.

Qualifications

• Electrical Installation industry background
• Level 3 qualification in an Electrical discipline
• 18th Edition and 2nd Amendment qualifications
• Level 2 English and Maths (or equivalent)
• TAQA Assessor Award desirable or willing to work towards
• Teaching qualification desirable or willingness to work towards
• Strong practical trade knowledge and up-to-date industry understanding
• Able to engage, motivate and support vocational learners
• Confident using IT, Microsoft Office and digital learning systems
• Strong communication, planning and organisational skills
• Committed to learner progress, safeguarding, equality and high standards
• Long-term career within education and training

Responsibilities

• Deliver Electrical Installation programmes across Level 1–3
• Teach classroom, workshop, theory and practical sessions
• Plan and deliver engaging learning programmes and materials
• Produce schemes of work, lesson plans and assessment plans
• Conduct practical assessments, observations and exam marking
• Embed English, Maths and ICT into the curriculum
• Use systems to evidence and track learner progress
• Work with quality teams to support qualification checks
• Maintain a safe, professional and inclusive learning environment
