ADSYST (AUTOMATION) LIMITED in Sandhurst, Berkshire is seeking an Electrical Installation Supervisor (Senior/Lead) to survey, install, commission and support site-based control systems on automation projects across the UK water industry. This role is electrically biased with some PLC programming training provided. Travel to sites within the UK is required (approx.

3 hours away; occasional overnight stays). The position is full-time, 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of practical electrical supervisory experience.
• Electrical qualifications C&G, BTEC, NVQ3, ONC or HNC/HND, 18th edition.
• ECS Gold card eligibility (Adsyst covers exam).
• SSSTS or SMSTS desirable.
• Experience in service & support, electrical installation or maintenance.
• Familiar with PLCs and basic programming (training provided).

Responsibilities

• Survey, install, commission and support site-based control systems.
• Oversee high-standard work within deadlines.
• Travel to UK sites (approx. 3 hours away); some overnight stays.
• Lead and supervise electrical installation teams.

Electrical Installation Supervisor (Senior / Lead)

Job Description

We’re looking for Electrical Installation Supervisorsto join our growing team in our newly opened office location of Sandhurst, Berkshire. The role isworking on exciting automation and control projects across the UK water industry. The role requires a self-motivated, practical problem solver with good communication skills.

A key activity for this role will be to survey, install, commission and support site-based control systems and equipment for our key clients. Predominantly electrical biased but there will be some elements of basic PLC programming (training will be provided). The candidate will be responsible for ensuring work is completed to the highest standard within agreed deadlines.

Whilst the majority of the work will be within standard working hours this operational role requires you to be flexible and will involve UK travel to sites (approx. max of 3 hours away). Some time away from home is to be expected, but it is not planned to exceed 20% of the working week. Hotels will be provided for any commute times over 1.5 hours.

Full-time position45hrs a week - Monday to Friday

What we are looking for:

• A minimum of 2 years of practical electrical supervisory experience
• Electrical qualifications C&G, BTEC, NVQ3, ONC or HNC/HND, 18th edition required (BS7671:2018).
• ECS Gold card holder or able to qualify for one, which would be covered by Adsyst
• SSSTS or SMSTS course qualification would be highly desirable
• Previous experience in a service & support, electrical installation or maintenance role
• Electrical design including EPlan, AutoCAD or equivalent would be advantageous
• Control panel design, manufacture or electrical installation skills
• Experience of equipment installation and commissioning such as PLC’s advantageous
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• UK Driving License
• Must be eligible to work in the UK
