Job summary

CJS Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Electrical Installation Lecturer to deliver theory and practical training within a further education setting on a long-term contract. You will monitor learner progress, promote an inclusive environment, and support learners toward employment or further study.

The role requires proven teaching experience, relevant electrical qualifications, and up-to-date safeguarding training.

Qualifications

• Proven teaching experience in Electrical Installation or related FE setting.
• Relevant Electrical Installation qualifications held.
• Enhanced DBS covering Child and Adult Workforce; Update Service is preferred.
• Willing to undergo DBS check before starting.
• Up-to-date Safeguarding training.
• Up-to-date KCSIE training.
• Up-to-date Prevent/ Radicalisation training.
• Excellent communication, organisation and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for teaching and helping learners succeed.
• Sound understanding of health and safety in electrical/practical environments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality electrical installations theory and practical training.
• Monitor learner progress and maintain accurate records.
• Promote a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
• Support learners in developing practical abilities and knowledge.
• Ensure all teaching activities comply with health and safety requirements.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support learner achievement and progression.
