Job summary

South Thames Colleges Group is seeking an experienced Electrical Installation lecturer to deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment across our Electrical Installation curriculum in London. You will support curriculum development, employer engagement and learner skills development while delivering engaging lessons and practicals.

You’ll hold a teaching qualification (or working towards) and an Electrical Installation qualification, with recent UK FE teaching experience.

Qualifications

Holds or is working towards a Teaching qualification and has a Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification.
Has recent UK FE teaching experience in Electrical Installation.
Experience delivering practical and theory elements with strong assessment methods.

Responsibilities

Deliver high‑quality teaching, learning and assessment in Electrical Installation.
Provide tutorial support and track learner progress with effective feedback.
Develop and support curriculum, engage with employers and broaden learner skills.
Deliver lectures, set/mark coursework, and supervise practicals and field work.
Differentiate teaching to meet diverse learner needs and manage workload.
