Job summary

Heart of Worcestershire College is seeking an Electrical Installation Lecturer to join the Engineering department. The role involves delivering electrical installation teaching across campuses, with responsibilities including planning, assessment, and CPD.

The closing date is 10 September 2026 and the position operates at 37 hours per week on a full-time basis. The salary ranges from £26,687 to £41,413 per annum, with progression and DBS checks required.

Qualifications

• Teaching qualification or willingness to undertake the Certificate in Education and Training within 2 years.
• All staff are required to have Maths and English at level 2 or higher.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare teaching in Electrical Installation in line with curriculum.
• Deliver effective programmes of learning with strong classroom management.
• Ensure safety and quality assurance in line with college policies and examining bodies.
• Monitor and assess students' progress and provide timely feedback.
• Maintain accurate administration and records.
• Engage in CPD and professional development.
