Job summary

onlyFE in Luton is seeking a full-time lecturer in Electrical Installation to teach and assess City and Guilds Levels 1–3 and 16–18, including adult learners. Evening teaching from 6–9 pm will be required. The role focuses on applying industry knowledge to both practical and theory sessions.

Ideally you will hold electrical installation qualifications plus experience; assessor/IQA qualifications are advantageous, and a teaching qualification is desirable though training can be provided.

Qualifications

• Industry electrician with practical experience
• Enthusiasm for teaching across Levels 1–3 and 16–18
• Assessor and/or IQA qualifications would be advantageous
• Teaching qualification desirable but not essential; teaching qualification training offered

Responsibilities

• Teach and assess City and Guilds Levels 1–3 and 16–18 and adult learners.
• Deliver evening classes 6–9 pm as required.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and deliver practical and theory components.
• Support learners to achieve potential and upskill within the College context
