Job summary

Henry Blue Ltd is seeking a dedicated educator to deliver high-quality teaching and training across Electrical Installation programmes in Huddersfield. The role involves planning engaging lessons, preparing learning materials and schemes of work, and teaching both practical and theoretical aspects of Electrical Installation.

You will assess learner work, monitor progress, and provide regular feedback to ensure learners stay on track while maintaining accurate records and contributing to progress

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation or related discipline.
• Strong practical/industry experience within the electrical sector.
• Experience delivering training, teaching or learner support is desirable.
• Good understanding of current Electrical Installation practices and industry standards.
• Ability to engage and motivate learners from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong communication, organisation and classroom management skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching and training across Electrical Installation programmes.
• Plan and prepare engaging lessons, learning materials and schemes of work.
• Teach both practical and theoretical aspects of Electrical Installation.
• Assess and mark learner work in line with awarding body and college requirements.
• Monitor learner progress and provide regular feedback and support.
• Carry out tutorials, reviews and assessments to ensure learners remain on track.
• Maintain accurate learner records and contribute to progress monitoring.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Support learners to develop the practical skills, knowledge and behaviours required for employment and further study.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and improve the Electrical Installation curriculum.
• Maintain high standards of teaching, learning and assessment.
