TXM Recruit is hiring an Electrical Inspector for a 12-month FTC at their Ampthill facility. You will inspect cable harnesses and electrical assemblies, perform IPC-compliant testing and support non-conforming products management.
The role requires knowledge of IPC/WHMA-A-620/IPC-A-610, electrical testing with DMMs and adherence to ESD controls. 4-day week, 37.5 hours, with ongoing training and development opportunities.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Inspector to join a leading organisation on a 12-month FTC basis, operating within the defence and advanced engineering sector at their facility in Ampthill, Bedfordshire. This is an excellent opportunity for an Electrical Inspector, Quality Inspector or Test Technician with strong knowledge of IPC/WHMA-A-620 and experience inspecting and testing cable harnesses, wiring looms and electrical assemblies. You'll join an established Quality team supporting the manufacture of high-value, high-reliability products across a range of technically challenging programmes. The position also benefits from an excellent 4-day working week, Monday to Thursday.
As an Electrical Inspector, you'll be responsible for ensuring manufactured electrical products conform to the required engineering, quality and IPC standards. You'll work across both high-volume electrical cable manufacturing and specialist one-off/investigation work, carrying out inspection, electrical testing and supporting the management of non-conforming products.
