Job summary

Guardian Electrical Compliance is seeking a detail‑oriented Electrical Inspector to perform Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) across commercial and industrial sites in the UK, ensuring full compliance with BS 7671 and safety regulations.

You will identify hazards, document non‑compliance, provide actionable recommendations, and communicate findings clearly to clients while upholding high standards of electrical safety.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in electrical inspection or related field.
• Excellent knowledge of BS 7671 IET Wiring Regulations 18th Edition.
• Strong diagnostic and reporting skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Capable of working across UK client sites.
• City & Guilds 2391-52 (or equivalent) qualification in Inspection and Testing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) in commercial and industrial settings.
• Identify defects, safety hazards and non‑compliance issues and document them clearly.
• Provide actionable recommendations and corrective actions for clients.
• Prepare detailed reports with findings and recommendations for clients."
