Job description

Electrical Tester

Location: Preston

Salary: £46,000 - £50,000 + Package (OTE £65,000) + Door to Door Travel + Private Healthcare + Progression + Training + Growing Employer + Recession Proof + Immediate Start

This position is ideal for an Electrical Tester seeking an autonomous role with significant earning potential through overtime and door-to-door pay. The company plans to expand with 5 new inspector teams, complementing the 70+ engineers added in the past 18 months, providing opportunities for career progression within a respected compliance organization.

They are looking for an Electrical Tester experienced in EICR, EICs, Fixed Wire Testing, and report writing for a diverse blue-chip clientele across various industries including Commercial, Manufacturing, Government, and Private Sector within the North East.

Your role as an Electrical Tester will include:

1. Attending sites for electrical fixed wire testing/EICRs
2. Managing your workload and overseeing other engineers in your local area
3. Client-facing responsibilities
4. Understanding legislation and overseeing report writing

Requirements for the successful Electrical Tester:

1. City & Guilds 2330 Level 3 or equivalent NVQ Level 3
2. IEE 18th Edition
3. City and Guilds 2391, 2394, or 2395
4. Extensive experience in commercial and industrial sectors
