Job summary

Barhale is seeking an Electrical Improver to join our IOS Framework team on Anglian Water AMP 8 projects in Northamptonshire. You will assist a fully qualified Electrician on industrial sites, with training opportunities and a focus on safety and quality.

The role requires a full UK driving licence, willingness to travel, and strong communication skills to support ongoing works and customer targets.

Qualifications

• Semi-qualified electrician to work with a qualified Electrician on industrial projects.
• Experience in industrial installations (steel containment, power, ICA wiring, telemetry) desirable; on-the-job training provided.
• Willing to work away from home for short periods (project & training dependent).
• Be committed to health, safety and environmental obligations.
• Level 1 and/or Level 2 Electrical Installations to gain NVQ Level 3.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Good communication, both verbal and written; able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• A semi-qualified electrician to work with a fully qualified Electrician on industrial projects.
• Experience in industrial installations, including steel containment, power, and ICA wiring; telemetry & fault-finding would be beneficial; experience gained on the job.
• Willing to work away from home for short periods (project & training dependent).
• Keen to fulfil customers’ targets, involving overtime when required.
• To uphold the company values and safety ethics.
• As experience is gained, further responsibilities can be added to your role as confidence grows.
• Level 1 and/or Level 2 Electrical Installations to gain their NVQ Level 3 qualification.
• Full UK driving licence
• Good communication, both verbal and written
• Able to work under own initiative, as well as within teams
• Be able to demonstrate knowledge of health, safety, quality, and environmental obligations
