Job summary
Milestone Recruitment Group Limited is seeking three experienced Electrical Improvers for a six-month contract at Humber Refinery in Immingham. The role focuses on industrial electrical containment, installing cable ladder rack and cable tray, and working with installation teams on a heavily regulated site.
Candidates should have proven containment experience, be able to pass site drug and alcohol testing, and hold ECS/CSCS cards if required.
Qualifications

- Industrial experience, ideally within oil and gas, petrochemical, refineries, power generation or industrial plants.

Hours: 44 hours per week, with overtime available and potential 12-hour shifts

We are recruiting for 3 experienced Electrical Improvers for a six-month contract at a major oil refinery in the Immingham area.
The work is focused entirely on industrial electrical containment, specifically cable ladder rack and cable tray installation.
We're looking for reliable improvers who have solid, hands‑on containment experience and are comfortable working in a heavily regulated industrial environment.
- Installation of cable ladder rack and cable tray systems
- Fitting and securing electrical containment
- Working alongside electrical installation teams
- Following site‑specific health and safety procedures
- Previous experience as an Electrical Improver or Electrician's Mate
- Proven cable ladder rack installation experience is essential
- Experience installing cable tray and associated containment
- Industrial experience, ideally within oil and gas, petrochemical, refineries, power generation, manufacturing or industrial process plants
- Able to work safely and reliably on a high‑compliance industrial site
- Willing and able to comply with strict site drug and alcohol testing requirements
- Available to start Monday 19 October
- Relevant ECS/CSCS cards and industrial safety qualifications are beneficial, subject to confirmation of the site's entry requirements.
