Job summary

Randstad CPE is seeking an Electrical Improver to join our on-site FM team in London (Victoria). Working Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm, you will help maintain, service and repair electrical building services on a premier commercial estate.

You will assist electricians with planned maintenance and reactive repairs, carry out lamping and lighting repairs, support small works, and help with emergency lighting testing and fire alarm checks.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 NVQ in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Assist maintenance electricians with planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs across the site.
• Carrying out lamping, lighting repairs, and basic electrical fault-finding.
• Supporting small works projects, including minor containment, re-wiring, and power installations.
• Assisting with emergency lighting testing, fire alarm checks, and compliance logbook updates.
• Monitoring building management systems (BMS) and escalating issues when required.
• Maintaining high health & safety standards, ensuring all work complies with site risk assessments and method statements.

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Electrical Improver to join our on-site Facilities Management (FM) team at the in London. Working standard daytime hours (Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm), you will work alongside experienced FM Electricians to maintain, service, and repair building services across a premier commercial estate.

This is an ideal role for an improver looking to build a career in commercial Facilities Management and maintenance.
