Job summary

phs Compliance in Inverness area seeks a Fixed Wire Test Engineer to inspect and test customer electrical installations, including EICRs, emergency lighting, and fire alarm tests. The role requires electrical testing expertise and the ability to produce timely reports using cloud software.

You’ll join a market-leading team with uncapped bonus potential, a company vehicle, and extensive benefits. A UK driving licence and IPAF 3a/3b are essential, alongside 40-hour weeks and twilight shift

Qualifications

SVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds 2360/2330 part 1 & 2 qualification or equivalent Level 3 NQV.
City & Guilds 18th Edition qualification.
City & Guilds 2391/2394 & 2395.
AM2.
Experience working in an electrical testing environment.
Flexibility to work 40 hours per week, including evening/twilight shifts to support customers.
Full UK Driving Licence, with 6 points or less.
IPAF 3a & 3b licence.
Good IT literacy.
Experience with Electrical installation/project work.
Understanding of UK Health and Safety Regulations.

Responsibilities

Carrying out Inspections & Testing on customer electrical installations (EICRs) including Emergency Lighting Testing and Fire Alarm Inspections.
Completing all relevant reports and certification using cloud-based software.
Ensuring all reports and certification are completed and submitted on time.
