Job summary

COMPEX Electrical Testing in Aberdeen/Inverness/Elgin seeks an Electrical Testing and Fixed Wirer Tester to perform inspections and testing across industrial settings. The role offers stability, strong earning potential, and a pathway to certification and professional development.

You will work autonomously within a national team, conducting high-quality examinations, producing technical reports, and advising clients while ensuring compliance with 18th Edition and health & safety standards.

Qualifications

• COMPEX 01-04 qualification is essential.
• 18th Edition (BS7671) knowledge and testing qualifications (2391/2394/2395) required.
• Full UK Driving Licence and ability to produce technical reports.

Responsibilities

• Carry out statutory inspections and electrical testing across industrial and commercial environments.
• Produce accurate technical inspection reports within agreed timescales.
• Operate independently within a national engineering team and advise clients.
• Ensure compliance with current electrical standards and safety requirements.
