Job summary

Swift Temps South West seeks an Electrical Fitter I to join a collaborative manufacturing team in the United Kingdom. You will follow engineering drawings and install electrical containment, wiring and components to meet exacting standards.

Full training will be provided; prior experience helps, but a proactive attitude and attention to detail are essential as you support continuous improvement and quality across the build process.

Qualifications

• Able to follow engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• A proactive, positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
• Good communication skills and a team-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical assembly and installation tasks from drawings and instructions.
• Install electrical containment systems (trunking, tray and conduit) in line with drawings.
• Prepare cables and termination for controllers, motors, plugs and sockets.
• Dress cables neatly and fit identification labels correctly.
• Support earthing and bonding activities under supervision.
• Complete job documentation accurately using company systems.
