Job summary

Quay Personnel in Liverpool is seeking an experienced Electrical Fitter to service electrical rotating equipment at our Liverpool facility. The role includes dismantling and testing motors, gearboxes, pumps and transformers, with fault diagnosis and repair actions.

You will re-assemble and test after repair with voltages up to 415V and test voltages to 2kV. Working hours are Mon-Fri 08:00-16:30, with overtime or weekend work during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Experience repairing electrical rotating equipment.
• Willingness to rostered out-of-hours cover.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Dismantle motors, gearboxes, pumps, and test components.
• Test and repair transformers.
• Identify and fix faults.
• Re-assemble and test equipment after repair.
• Work with voltages up to 415V and test voltages up to 2kV.
• Attend sites to test motors and generators and determine repairs.
• Site work with driving licence and flexibility as needed.
