Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is recruiting Electrical Fitters to work at our client's custom-built premises in Dumbarton. This is a long-term temporary position, with the view that it may lead to permanent work for the right candidates thereafter.

You'll be involved in assembly, wiring, interconnection and inspection of DC and 3-phase AC control panels, alternators (LV, HV, MV), MV switchboards and HV transformers, as well as Battery Storage Systems and HVAC equipment.

Qualifications

• Electrical background with or without apprenticeship; certification considered.
• Involvement in assembly, wiring, interconnection and inspection of control panels and associated HV/MV equipment.
• Support apprentices and share knowledge.
• Commitment to safety and reporting safety concerns.
• Drive for continuous improvement and quality.
• Identify opportunities to improve team output and quality.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, wire, interconnect and inspect DC and 3-phase AC control panels and alternators.
• Work with MV/HV equipment, switchboards, transformers and HV cabling.
• Assist in Battery Storage Systems and HVAC equipment maintenance.
• Uphold safety standards and escalate issues as needed.
• Contribute to continuous improvement to reduce build times and costs.
• Collaborate with teammates to improve overall quality and efficiency.
