What You Will Do

• Complete electrical fitting, assembly, integration, and test tasks for vehicles in line with manufacturing instructions, engineering drawings, and quality standards.
• Ensure the integrity of vehicle systems, sub-systems, and line replaceable units (LRUs) through basic tests and fault finding.
• Read and interpret technical drawings to understand specifications and materials required for tasks.
• Complete technical reports and support the Quality department as needed.
• Maintain a safe and efficient working area, adhering to 5S requirements and production schedules.
• Perform crane operation and lifting tasks following safe working practices.

The role will be working a rotational shift pattern consisting of 6am/2pm Monday to Friday then 2pm-12 midnight Monday to Thursday. Friday off. Basic salary of £38,056 plus 20% shift allowance (£45,667) with an excellent benefit package on offer.

What You Will Bring

• Level 2 qualification in Engineering/Manufacturing or equivalent experience.
• Significant assembly experience in a mechanical engineering or production environment within a similar industry.
• Proficiency in reading and understanding technical drawings and specifications.
• To be able to pass UK MOD 'SC' security clearance.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team or independently.
• A motivated, disciplined work ethic with a continuous improvement mindset.
