Job summary

Mane Contract Services in the United Kingdom is seeking a skilled electrical assembler to join our production team. You will wire and assemble electrical systems in accordance with regulations and project drawings, and support testing and commissioning activities on site.

The role involves using power tools, soldering and wiring, reading wiring diagrams, and performing assembly tasks on the shop floor. Standard hours are Monday to Thursday 8.30am-5.30pm, Friday 8.30am-1.00pm, with onsite

• Electrical assembly tasks include using power tools, locating faults, soldering and wiring, and reading wiring diagrams and assembly drawings.

Job description

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

Wiring in accordance with regulations and electrical & mechanical engineering drawings/work to samples. Install, test, commission, maintain and build electrical systems and components.

Electrical Assembly:

• Correctly use and maintain the tools of the trade including power tools, test equipment and measuring instruments.
• Locate and repair faults in electrical power supply equipment.
• Must have good soldering & wiring skills
• Carry out mechanical fitting and relevant assembly work.
• Read and interpret electrical wiring and circuit diagrams, and assembly drawings.
• Must be able to use variety of hand tools such as spanners, screw drivers, ratchet sets as well as electric power tools.

Hours of work:

Hours of work: Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5.30pm. Fridays 8.30am to 1.00pm.

Interview Process:

• 1st stage is a Teams Interview with HR.
• 2nd stage is an onsite interview with HR & CEO. Then after that, an introduction to the production Supervisor.

Must wear safety shoes at times whilst working on the shop floor
