A leading company in the electrical sector is seeking an Electrical Fitter to join their team in Canning Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for installation, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems at various voltage levels. This electrical fitter will report to the project engineer and will work within network operations based in our Canning Town office. You will be a permanent employee in our UK Power Networks team.
You will attract a salary of £43,904 plus Inner London Allowance + benefits and a bonus of 3%.
If you are successful, you will need to undertake a medical and DBS reference check

To work as part of a team, carrying out the full range of duties associated with Primary and Grid substation construction at voltages between 400V and 132kV.

You you will play an important role in the safe completion of Capital & Connections Works Programme. You may work at any location within the UK Power Networks region they have been employed.
You would undertake training to increase your skills that could lead to progression within the organisation and may receive salary and band progression upon achieving the higher authorisation levels.
Health & Safety Responsibilities

Employees need to be aware that for some craft and operational roles that work at height, or use fall arrest devices, there is an upper weight limit of 116Kg due to maximum safe working load of the safety equipment that is used.
