Job summary

First Military Recruitment is recruiting an Electrical Fitter for a permanent role in Dungannon, Northern Ireland. You will assemble components at the finishing end of production, read electrical drawings, and use hand, air and electric tools to meet customer specifications.

Working Monday to Friday, with a company pension and performance bonus, you will join a team committed to quality and ISO 9001 standards while maintaining a safe, compliant workspace.

Qualifications

• Experience in fitting, assembly, manufacturing, engineering and mechanics.
• Knowledge of mains AC and automotive DC electrical schematics and fault finding.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.
• Experience with handheld tools.
• Strong problem solving and teamwork.

First Military Recruitment is proudly working in partnership with a fantastic business who are looking to recruit an Electrical Fitter on a permanent basis due to growth located at their Dungannon (Northern Ireland) location.

Location: Dungannon, Northern Ireland

Salary: £31,000 - £35,000

Working Hours: Monday to Friday

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assemble a variety of different components in the finishing end of production according to customer specification.
• Quality check your own work and that of colleagues.
• Experience using hand, air and electric tools to complete tasks.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.
• Liaise with Supervisors, Managers, and team members.
• Comply with company policies and legal guidelines.
• Help maintain a safe and orderly work environment.
• Any other duties as required by the production manager to suit business needs.
• Adherence to ISO 9001 quality management system.
• Adherence to company health and safety procedures.

Skills and Qualifications

• Experience in fitting, assembly, manufacturing, engineering and mechanics.
• Ideally you will have knowledge of mains AC and automotive DC electrical and hydraulic schematics and significant experience of electrical fault finding and diagnostics within a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of Ground Support Equipment would be advantageous as well as hydraulic pumps and valves.
• Experience of handheld tools.
• Ability to assemble consistently to a high standard.
• Able to trouble shoot and solve problems.
• A 'can do' attitude and ability to interact within a multifunctional team.
• Excellent verbal and written skills.
• Highest level of integrity, honesty and trust.
