Job summary

Clear Engineering Recruitment is seeking an experienced Service Engineer (Electrical) for Northern Ireland, based in Lisburn. You will service, maintain and repair diesel generators and related control systems across Northern Ireland, diagnosing faults from control panels to components.

Reading electrical drawings, programming ComAp/Deep Sea controllers, and supporting upgrades are core duties. Will travel Ireland-wide and participate in on-call rotations; weekend work flexibility is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience as an electrical technician/electrician
• Strong industrial electrical fault-finding experience
• Experience with generator controls and related software

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair diesel generators and ancillary equipment
• Diagnose and resolve electrical faults including control panels to component level
• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance
• Interrogate and program ComAp and Deep Sea generator controllers
• Read and interpret electrical drawings
• Support generator control system upgrades and new installations
• Provide on-site and remote fault finding; participate in on-call rota
• Occasional travel throughout Ireland, including overnight stays
