Job summary

Unify is seeking a Field Service Electrical Engineer to join their established team in the South East. The role covers customer sites and industrial installations across the UK, with travel primarily in the Southeast region from bases in Kent or Essex.

Ideal candidates hold an Electrical Indentured Apprenticeship and have proven fault finding, installation, commissioning and repair experience, plus a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Complete a recognised Electrical Indentured Apprenticeship.
• Proven fault finding, installation, commissioning and repair experience.
• Full UK driving licence (preferably clean).
• Experience within heavy engineering or industrial sectors.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical faults within commercial and heavy industrial systems.
• Carry out fault finding, rewiring, testing and system monitoring.
• Perform routine maintenance in line with manufacturer and compliance standards.
• Install electrical systems in accordance with 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Rewire systems to a high standard, ensuring compliance with building and safety regulations.
• Lead and assist with planned projects and site outages.
• Provide professional technical assessments and customer advice.
• Deliver high levels of customer service while working independently on site.

Job Title: Field Service Electrical Engineer

Location: Essex or Kent (UK-wide travel, primarily Southeast)

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 + Excellent Benefits Package

Overview

Unify is currently recruiting for experienced Field Service Electrical Engineers/Technicians on behalf of a well-established and respected engineering services provider.

This permanent position is based out of Kent or Essex, with responsibilities covering customer sites and industrial installations and maintenance contracts across the UK, predominantly within the South East region.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical faults within commercial and heavy industrial systems

• Availability for 1 in 4 call-out rota
