Ernest Gordon Recruitment seeks an Electrical Field Service Engineer in Derby to service metallographic and control equipment across the south midlands and UK-wide, in a days-based, autonomous role.

The role is Monday to Friday with specialist training workshops and real opportunities for career development, ensuring a good work-life balance. You will be customer-facing and work from home when not on site.

Salary is £40,000-£45,000 plus phone, van, laptop, bonus and company benefits.

Qualifications

• HND/HNC or equivalent is essential.
• Experience in field service and customer-facing roles preferred.
• Strong electrical engineering background required.

Responsabilités

• Servicing metallographic and control equipment.
• Covering a south midlands patch and occasionally UK-wide.
• Attend specialist training workshops and develop technical skills.
• Work Monday to Friday with autonomous on-site management.

This company supplies and services metallographic and control equipment to aerospace, automotive and educational sectors. They provide advanced equipment and pride themselves on the quality of the equipment they provide.

They are looking for an Electrical Engineer who is looking for a field-based role that offers great training opportunities. An engineering qualification such as an HND/HNC or similar is also essential, as this is a customer facing role good quality customer service is required.

The Role

• Servicing a south midlands patch and occasionally UK wide
• Servicing Metallographic and control equipment
• Specialist Training Workshops
• Monday to Friday
