Edwards Employment Solutions Ltd. is recruiting a Field Service Engineer to cover customers across the Birmingham and Walsall region, working on-site at customer locations.

The role involves fault-finding, servicing and repairing industrial equipment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service. The engineer will diagnose mechanical and electrical faults, perform planned preventive maintenance, and install/commission equipment where required.

Qualifications

• Mechanical and electrical engineering experience.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic ability.
• Experience in a field service or maintenance role.
• Able to work independently and manage your own schedule.
• Excellent communication and customer service.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Experience in industrial weighing is beneficial but not essential.

Field Service Engineer – Birmingham / Walsall

Location: Birmingham / Walsall Region

Salary: £36,000-£46,000 per annum + Benefits

We are recruiting for a Field Service Engineer to cover customers across the Birmingham and Walsall region on behalf of a well-established engineering business experiencing continued growth.

This role is suited to an engineer with strong mechanical and electrical experience who enjoys fault-finding, problem-solving and delivering excellent customer service while working at customer sites.

The Role

• Service, maintain and repair industrial equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and emergency breakdown support.
• Install and commission equipment where required.
• Complete service documentation accurately.
• Represent the business professionally while building strong customer relationships.

Essential Skills

• Full UK driving licence.
• Experience within the industrial weighing industry would be beneficial but is not essential. Candidates with transferable electromechanical engineering experience are encouraged to apply.

Salary: £36,000-£46,000 per annum, depending on experience.
