Job summary

Maintech Recruitment is recruiting an Electrical Facilities Engineer for a leading UK food manufacturer in Ashby-de-la-Zouch. The role is Monday to Friday days, with no weekends, and offers a basic salary up to £39,000 depending on experience.

You will maintain boilers, compressors, effluent treatment and fire protection, carry out planned maintenance, ensure statutory compliance and support improvements as part of a wider engineering team.

Qualifications

• Recognised electrical apprenticeship or Level 3 Electrical qualification.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Experience maintaining site services, facilities or manufacturing equipment.
• Strong electrical fault-finding skills with understanding of statutory compliance.
• Proactive, hands-on approach; able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance across site services equipment
• Complete statutory inspections, keeping compliance documentation audit-ready
• Maintain boilers, compressors, effluent treatment plant, sprinkler systems and fire protection equipment
• Carry out electrical installations, fault finding and repairs across the site
• Support LOLER inspections and legionella control procedures
• Carry out general building maintenance including basic plumbing, joinery and facilities repairs
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that boost site reliability and efficiency
