Job summary
Trant Engineering in Southampton seeks an experienced Estimator to prepare electrical and ICA cost estimates for process and water tenders. You will support bid teams, collaborate with engineers, commercial and project delivery to deliver accurate, competitive costs.

- Engineering or related technical degree and estimating experience.
- Experience in engineering, construction, or infrastructure estimation.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
Responsibilities
- Attend site visits and develop understanding of process/controls.
- Prepare electrical/ICA cost estimates for tenders.
- Collaborate with bid teams, engineers, and commercial staff.
- Input into tenders with scope, procurement, and constructability considerations.
- Maintain cost databases and contribute to process improvements.
