Energy Jobline CVL in Bolton seeks an experienced Electrical Estimator to join a busy commercial team for design & build projects across the UK. You will prepare accurate tenders, review drawings, and analyse costs while coordinating with suppliers and clients.

The role reports to the Commercial Director and involves managing multiple tenders from £100k to £15m, with opportunities for career progression in a growing business. £60,000-£70,000 DOE.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Electrical Estimator within the building services sector.
• Experience pricing commercial design and build projects.
• Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills.

Electrical Estimator - Building Services

Location: Bolton, Greater Manchester

Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 per annum DOE

Employment: Full-Time | Permanent

The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Estimator to join the Commercial Team of a well-established and growing M&E building services contractor based in Bolton. The business delivers high-quality commercial building services projects across the UK and has built long-standing relationships with some of the country's largest organisations across the commercial, leisure and transport sectors.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Electrical Estimator with experience in design and build commercial projects to join a busy and forward-thinking business with an exciting pipeline of work. Reporting directly to the Commercial Director, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive tenders on projects ranging from £100,000 to £15 million, working closely with suppliers, subcontractors, clients and project delivery teams. The successful candidate will be able to work independently, manage multiple tenders simultaneously and contribute to the continued growth of the business.

Requirements

• Previous experience as an Electrical Estimator within the building services sector
• Experience pricing commercial design and build projects
• Strong knowledge of electrical building services installations
• Experience using estimating software
• Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills
• Good communication and organisational skills
• The ability to manage multiple tenders to tight deadlines A HNC in Building Services Engineering, Electrical Engineering Degree, or similar qualification would be advantageous; however, candidates with strong industry experience will also be considered.
• A full UK driving licence is desirable as occasional travel and overnight stays may be required.
