Energy Jobline CVL is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator in Derby to join an established M&E contractor. You will prepare detailed estimates and tenders for large-scale commercial projects, analysing drawings, specs and documentation to deliver competitive bids.

With 5+ years in electrical estimating, you will review subcontractor quotations, identify risks and ensure timely submissions. The role is office-based with a strong benefits package and career progression.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in electrical estimating within the M&E or building services sector.
• Experience estimating commercial projects valued in the multi‑millions.
• Strong understanding of electrical building services installations and associated costs.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and tender documentation.
• Excellent commercial awareness, attention to detail and organisational skills.

The Role

As Electrical Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive electrical tenders across a range of large‑scale commercial projects, working closely with the wider commercial and project teams to support successful project delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing detailed electrical estimates and tender submissions for large‑scale commercial projects.
• Estimating electrical packages on multi‑million‑pound projects.
• Analysing drawings, specifications, tender documentation and project requirements.
