Job summary

Marble Talent Group Ltd is recruiting an experienced Electrical Estimator to join a growing M&E contractor based in the Solent area. The successful candidate will have electrical estimating experience within the M&E/building services industry, ideally on large-scale or multi-million-pound projects.

Responsibilities include preparing accurate tenders, reviewing drawings and tender docs, completing take-offs and costings, obtaining supplier quotations, and identifying commercial risks and value

Qualifications

• Experience as Electrical/M&E Estimator.
• Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems.
• Experience with take-offs and tender submissions.
• Good commercial awareness and knowledge of current market rates.
• Proficient with Excel and estimating software.

Responsibilities

• Preparing accurate tenders for electrical building services projects.
• Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation.
• Completing detailed take-offs and labour/material costings.
• Obtaining and assessing supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Identifying commercial risks, opportunities and value engineering options.
• Working closely with Pre-Construction, Design and Commercial teams.
