Job summary

Elite Hire Solutions in Warwick is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to prepare accurate tenders from enquiry through submission for commercial projects, including new-build and refurbishment schemes. You will review drawings, produce take-offs, obtain quotes, assess risks and liaise with clients and suppliers.

A strong background in the M&E sector and the ability to work independently are essential for progression within a growing contractor.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Electrical Estimator
• Experience in electrical contracting / M&E
• Experience estimating commercial projects
• Experience across new-build and refurbishment schemes
• Understanding of electrical drawings and specifications
• Strong commercial awareness
• Confident communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a wider estimating team

Responsibilities

• Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation

Elitehire Solutions are working with a well-established, medium-sized and growing M&E contractor who are looking to recruit an experienced Electrical Estimator to join their team based in Warwick.

The contractor delivers a range of commercial electrical projects, covering both new-build and refurbishment schemes across the Midlands.

The Role

As Electrical Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive tenders for electrical projects from initial enquiry through to submission.

Duties will include:

• Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation
• Preparing detailed electrical estimates and tenders
• Producing take-offs and material schedules
• Obtaining and assessing supplier and subcontractor quotations
• Identifying risks, opportunities and value engineering options
• Liaising with clients, suppliers and the wider project team
• Attending tender meetings and site visits where required
• Supporting handover of secured projects to the delivery team
